We are subscribers of Britannica Online (http://www.eb.com/) , and were very helpful to find out Our own country, Japan, in English. We also used National Geographic Online(http://www.nationalgeographic.com/main.html) to find out about the Island, Futagami Jima, one of the islands of Nakajima Town introduced in 1972. We found the index for the island but not the article itself were found on the database. Maybe we didn't do right on the search. Maybe they don't have it on line because it is old. We looked everywhere for National Geographic May issue of 1972. We knew it might be somewhere we kept looking. And finally, we did find a part of the article not in their town's libraries or City Library but at the student's home! 3 years ago, the town's Junior High School had published a book called "Our Town, Nakajima", and the article was introduced on the book. These books were presents from the school for those who graduated the school wishing that all the students will remember important memories of Nakajima, and be proud of their home town. We thought what they did was wonderful.
