The First Letter of Johannes

1-5 Now the message that we have heard from his Son and announce is this: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in him.

1-6 If, then, we say that we have fellowship with him, yet at the same time live in the darkness, we are lying both in our words and in our actions.

1-7 But if we live in the light, just as he in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from every sin.

ヨハネ第一の手紙

1-5 神は光であって、神のうちには暗いところが少しもない。これが、私たちがキリストから聞いて、あなたがたに伝える知らせです。

1-6 もし私たちが、神と交わりがあると言っていながら、しかもやみの中を歩んでいるなら、私たちは偽りを言っているのであって、真理を行っていません。

1-7 しかし、もし神が光りの中におられるように、私たちも光りの中を歩んでいるなら、私たちは互いに交わりを保ち、御子イエスの血はすべての罪から私たちをきよめます。
