The Gospel according to Matteo

3-2 "Turn away from your sins, because the Kingdom of heaven is near!"

5-3 "Happy are those who know they are spiritually poor; the Kingdom of heaven belongs to them!"

5-4 "Happy are those who mourn; God will comfort them!"

5-9 "Happy are those who work for peace; God will call them his children!"

5-43 "You have heard that it was said,'Love your friends, hate your enemies.'

5-44 But now I tell you: love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."

3-2 「悔い改めなさい。天の御国が近づいたから。」

5-3 「心の貧しき者は幸いです。天の御国はその人のものだからです。」

5-4 「悲しむ者は幸いです。その人は慰められるからです。」

5-9 「平和をつくる者は幸いです。その人は神の子どもと呼ばれるからです。」

5-43 「自分の隣人を愛し、自分の敵を憎め。」と言われたのを、あなたがたが聞いています。
