APU: Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University

 Application for establishment of Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University is now under review by the Japanese Ministry of Education for opening in April, 2000. It will be first real  international institution with students coming from over fifty countries. Personally it is very lucky for me that my old university come my home prefecture.

This site is made by Masahiro Morioka who studies ethical problems concerning our actual life sincerely.  You can find some introduction about Miura, Baien both in German and English here. And also Mr. Rpbert Mittelsteadt provides us some interesting comment on money. If you can read German, you will be able to read very compact Japanese history, too. Even if you do not understand German, you will see some pictures about Japan. He can use not only English but also Japanese very well. Now I use his Site for my German learning.

 This is Mr. Elihu Edelson's Site. He is Professor of Jarvis Christian College where I had taught Japanese. You will be able to find some comments on various problems from reversal point of view. 'Both Sides Now (BSN)' is a small press publication in newsletter format. It has roots going back to the '60s.
