                                The Spirit of Jesus Church Order

　イエス之御霊教会は、初代教会に於ける使徒達の系統を嗣ぐものにして、旧教にも

あらず、新教にもあらず、実に主が日本に起し給うた聖書の予言の示す末の日に出現

すべき使徒教会の復興したる真の全き高き奥義を持つ、携え挙げられるキリストの体

なる教会である。

     THE ESSENCE

Iesu no Mitama Kyokai (The Spirit of Jesus Church) is the Body of Christ and

is: established by the Lord himself in Japan as the Holy Bible prophesies

its emergence on the last days; the revived apostolic church; of truth and

legitimacy, and to be ascended up. Since Iesu no Mitama Kyokai is inherited

from the Apostleship at the primitive churches, it is neither a Catholic nor

a Protestant.

　その起源は、昭和8年7月23日西巣鴨、日本聖書教会に於いての夜の集会に、俄然

ペンテコステの日の如く（使徒行伝2章1〜4節）聖霊降臨あり、それより日本全土に

聖霊運動の発したるに拠る。

      THE ORIGIN

Our church arose out of the occurrence of the Pentecostal movement spread

whole extent of Japan, which was originated from July 23, 1933 the

night-time meeting held at the Japan Bible Church in Nishisugamo, Tokyo,

where the Holy Spirit came down on the congregation as the day of Pentecost

(Act 2:1-4).

　昭和16年11月17日、監督故村井ジュン師は、天の異象によって、「イエス之御霊

教会」なる名称が与えられたので、その教義の内容を整えて、これを教団としたのが、

その発端である。

      THE BEGINNING

On November 17, 1941 the late Rev. Bishop Jun Murai received a revelation

from Heaven in which the name Iesu no Mitama Kyokai (Spirit of Jesus Church)

was given. He then settled the doctrine and organised the church as an

Order. This is the beginning of our Church Order.

　終戦後、昭和22年3月15日に、東京都杉並区大宮前6-355に小家屋を借り、東京

イエス之御霊教会として集会を開始するや、不思議にも処々より求霊者集い来り、又

日本全土、南西諸島に諸教会が勃興して現在に至り、今は、ブラジル、アルゼンチン、

ペルー、コロンビア、米国、台湾、韓国、フィリッピン、インドネシア、カンボジア、

フランス、ケニヤ、ガンビア又ニュージーランドにも教会が設立されたのである。

      THE GROWTH

After World War II, March 15, 1947 the Bishop Murai rented a small house at

6-355 Omiyamae, Suginami-ku Tokyo Japan to commence church services as Tokyo

Iesu no Mitama Kyokai. Remarkably, seekers after God have been congregating

from here and there in the church ever since, and a large number of churches

have been built up in all around Japan including the South West Islands.  Up

to today, our churches also have been established in Brazil, Argentina,

Peru, Colombia, United States, Taiwan, Korea, Philippine, Indonesia,

Cambodia, France, Kenya, Gambia and New Zealand. Glory be to the Lord!

　本教団は、監督政治であるが、全教会が主御自身の支配下にあって、御霊の一致を

保ち、その根本教理は、全教会に浸透している故、教会は牧師一任主義として全権を

もち、牧師は、全部無月給、教会はいかなる理由があっても、財的には、他にその援助

を乞わない。このため、政治的会議はいっさい開催しない。

      GOVERNMENT AND FINANCE

Although our Church Order is Episcopal, each church is under the control of

the Lord himself, being united in the God’s Spirit. The fundamental

teachings permeate all the churches, therefore each church has plenary

powers and its minister is entrusted with its responsibility. No allowances

are provided from the head church to local church’s ministers. For any

reason, local churches never call on other church for financial aids.

Thereby no political conferences are to be held in our church.
