地中海の入口ジブラルタル海峡を挟んだ モロッコ の北岸にスペイン領の小さな飛び地が二つあります。
その一つがセウタ、もう一つはメリリャ です。

Ceuta is a Spanish autonomous city on the north coast of Africa. Bordered by Morocco, it lies along the boundary between
the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean.

Melilla is an autonomous city of Spainin north Africa. It lies on the eastern side of the Cape Three Forks, Bordering Morocco
and facing the Mediterrnean Sea.

その昔スペインは、大航海時代に無敵艦隊を誇り世界中にその名を轟かせました。
現在残す領土は大西洋に浮かぶカナリア諸島と北アフリカの小さな飛び地領土（セウタ ＆ メリリャ）の２か所だけのようです。
