標高１６００ｍの高原にあるイシククル湖は、琵琶湖の９倍の大きさで 「中央アジアの真珠」 ,「キルギスの海」と呼ばれ、
ソ連時代は外国人の立ち入り禁止で、幻の湖とも呼ばれていたそうです。

キルギス人は、なぜか日本人に非常によく似ているそうです。そしてまた親日の国でもあるそうです。
