Guinea, officially the Republic of Guinea, is a country in West Africa.　Formerly known as French Guinea,it is sometimes
called Guinea-Conakry to distingush it from the neibour Guinea-Bissau and the Republic of Equatorial Guinea.

１９５８年、ギニアは他のフランス植民地がフランス共同体の自治共和国になった中で、住民投票により唯一完全独立の道を選んだ国
です。その昔サハラを超えヨーロッパに運ばれ、ベルサイユ宮殿の黄金の間に使われた金は、ここギニアの山で採れたものだそうです。
