入場式は独立前の北ローデシア国名と国旗（上）で行進し、閉会式はザンビアの国名と国旗（下）で行進しました。
ザンビアの国旗に描かれた３色は、赤は自由への苦闘（血）、黒はザンビアの国民（肌）、オレンジは天然鉱物資源（銅）
を表現しているそうです。
